Wire Wrapping Class

So today I went to the Centeral Florida Gem & Mineral Society Wire Wrapping class and had a very nice time. My instructer Byron was great to work with and the 3 other ladys at this class were fun to be with. I'll be back on the 27th for another class in wire wrapping a bracelet...

The Ring

Here the ring I just made at the class I just took. Its sitting on a old tibetan stamp that I got and the GLW show last month. Along with the stamp I got a whole lot of new material to bead with. The stone in this ring is Nevada Turquoise collecting over 40 years ago out of Tonopaw Nevada.

Lake Eola Farmers Market

Things are sure busy at the Down Town Lake Eola Farmers Market. Ive been going for about a month now and have been meeting some very intersting people and makeing some new contacts. I also joined the Centeral Florida Mineral and Gem Society a few weeks ago. I wanted to take a refreasher course in silversmithing. Its been about 18 years since ive done any. I just made my first ring in so long. It didnt come out perfect but im getting the hang of it. The Centeral Florida Mineral and Gem Society is great. They have a very nice facility. My instructer Paul was very helpful. I encourage anyone who's intrested in minerals and gems to join a rock club like this.

Im looking forward to getting back to Torrey and continue to make some new things like rings, braclets and much more. From what I hear they have had a lot of snow in the county. That's great for my trees and grass. I hear my horse's Bonnie & Clyde are well , and as for the chickens they are at my girlfriends house. She is haveing a great time with them and has just about named all of them, they will be spoiled rotten. To all my Torrey friends ( I cant wait to come home) !

There's going to be a couple of busy week-ends at the Market this month. Feb 14 Valentine's Day and  Feb 21 will be a good day to be out and about. Theres the Art & LIving Expo down at Lake Eola that saturday and sunday. Please come down and subport your local artists.

Custom Orders & Leaving for Orlando

Ive had some great custom orders lately. Nevada Turquoise earrings, Red Jasper from Southern Utah Pendants, Elk Antler Base inlayed with Nevada Turquoise, and several Women Pendants. I just started working on some beautiful Dinosaurs Bone some is red as an apple and some black with white cells. Both are realy nice and will make some great jewelry.

Were winding down the RV Park all the tourist have left. Duane and I are leaving next week for Orlando. It takes us about 3 days to get to Georgia where we have a small camp. Then off to Orlando after that. I hoping to spend Thanksgiving with my family this year and maybe a nother cruise with my Mom. Im looking forward to going to some of the Farmer Markets agian this winter. Its been a great year for my jewelry and the RV Park. Im sitting here looking out the back window to the rv park and Thousandlake Mt. and its snowing and the Mt. is covered. Ireally hate to leave this quiet beautiful place right now, but I have to.

Sunflowers , Horses & Turquoise

Well this season has been a good one. The RV Park has had lots of visitors the jewelry sales have been GREAT and I thank all my friends that have helped me out this year. I have about another month open maybe longer it all depends on the weather and Duanes work. My mom (Ginney) is still here with us. She leaves next week end to go back home to Orlando. I know she doesnt want to go back, but its going to start to get cold shortly.

The horses are as frisky as ever. Ive had them home here for a month and im planing to take them down the road tomarrow to the beautiful pasture down at Mrs. Jensen's for a while. Harry Potter and the girls are well too (our chickens and one rooster). Harry is still confusied about the time, I sure wish he would get it right.

Ive been grinding and cutting as much as I could and I have some of the most beautiful turquoise I have ever seen. I just cant keep my hands off of it. Ive had some very nice custom order this year. Im still working on lots of projects. I hope to have a great selection this winter when I hit the Farmers Markets down in Orlando. Thank you all for the great subport and call if you would like something special for someone you love for the holidays.
