Since discovering this ancient Fremont woman pendant while hiking near Torrey, I have been replicating it using different stones and antler, and she has become very special to me. I truley belive she was meant for me to find and I hope all who wear her feel inspired as I am.

Jewelry

This is a small example of some of my Jewelry. All my pieces are one of a kind. I don't want to make anything exactly alike. There is always something different about each piece. All the silver I use for my clasps and ear wires, and any wire wrapping is Sterling Silver. Some of my favorite silver beads are from Northen Thialand , Hills Tribe Silver each piece is truley beautiful and there is a great varity of silver beads. Im a beader at heart so I have a lot of beads. What ever your favorite stone is, Im sure I have it. I am very picky about my beads that I use in all my necklaces. I buy the best quality of stone and have been useing lots of fossil bone, fossil coral, amber, olive wood from Afghanstian and im finding lots of bead from Nepal and all over Indonesia.  My necklaces start at $30. and go up from there depending on the stone and cordage. My earrings that I cut and grind myself start at $45. The earrings that are just beaded are $25. I make braclets, and ankle bracelets out of all different materials. They start at $30 and go up from there depending on what I use.

A lot of my materials I've gathered myself when I'm out hiking , or I've traded with some of my rock loving friends and I love to go to Gem and Minerals Shows , there you can learn a lot, just by talking to some of the old timers that have been doing lapidary work for many years. All the deer antler I use is from sheds that I find or Duane finds. I like to use older antler it has more character to it. I also love to use Elk Ivorys , each Elk skull we come across has two ivory teeth and they make very nice earrings.  I use a variate of cordage from an assortment of stone, or shell hishi ,wood beads , leather , buckskin and natural dogbane cords. The dogbane comes from a plant that is dried and twisted. Friends of mine in Moab Utah
gather it them self's and make the cordage.
